Votty Old Vein
Sourced from the home of natural slate in Blaenau Ffestiniog, the Stoneleaf Votty Old Vein is a prestigious roofing slate.
The Stoneleaf Votty Old Vein is a blue grey slate with a smooth surface. It is widely considered to be the pinnacle in roof coverings, and has been used on many prestigious historical and heritage buildings.
Sizes produced range from 10"x6" up to 24"x14", however production is very much determined by the size of block that is available, and this does vary. Generally production is geared towards 20"x 10" and smaller, however larger sizes can be produced in very limited numbers. Random diminishing slates can also be made.
